I agree! Its irritating that most of SEO were now called spammers. Sometimes its easy to determine spammers, they usually don’t read the article and start posting some computer generated comment along with their links. They should really need to understand the term SEO.

even my blog also got a lot of comments daily because of my blog is dofollow enabled . But i filter the comments manually to avoid this kind of spamming in my blog.

well right,most SEO now are called spammers but they are not the same,maybe they have a little similarities but they are totally different.
SEO can do spam, but spammers can’t do SEO that’s the difference between them. SEO knows their thing, if they want to spam they can do it (but no point, right) spammers are just wanna be SEO that ruin the reputation of other SEO.

I think you are mixing the terms. Things described above are referred by black hat, but not to spam. SEO spamming is a different term which involves keyword stuffing on the web page which is still black hat.
