Very interesting infographic.
I’m a bit surprised as the salary of web programmer is more than designer.

For me, web designers are a part of web developers, as they are helping to develop a website working hand in hand with programmers, html specialists and seo people.
Both of them are afraid of Women…. lol
absolutely right …..

From what I’ve seen, the salary of a dev and a designer is actually about the same.
Ultimately, there should be a lot of cross-over of skills for each to be good at their job. It’s easier to design knowing how a web page is built, and a dev needs to build new elements that fit in with the design without having to go back to a designer for every little change.
I’d have said it’s the SEOs who seem to have the disproportionately high wages!
PS Your site says “Please wait a comment”, rather than “moment” when you submit a blog post!
Funny … lots of facts to back it…dunno how much of it is true.

In my mind, web designers are more on pictures and how to sites look, while web developers are more the ones who do the coding after the graphic side is done.
Well, its good to see that you’re back with any great infographic. Thanks for sharing.

From my experience the characters can be exactly the opposite way. And may be un-occupied designer jobs are much more than developers.

Web designers and web developers have a lot of differences but it all comes down to one thing both runs in the same web. The infographic did entertain me.
I’ve always wondered what the difference was, and lately I’ve come to stylize myself as a “Web Developer” because it sounds like it takes longer, and should cost A LOT MORE!!!

I like this blog. The post shown has given me inspiration to learn more. Keep up the good work.
Nice too funny. I don’t believe they are afraid of woman just don’t have time or find the right one.

I love the MADD spy vs spy image you used.
I think both designers and developers plays an important role in the web site production.
Designers and developers are both interdependent to each other.
Infographics really providing web solutions.
There is always a close interdependency between this two sections designing and development.
A lot of great information here. I think what is most important, though, is that the two work together to create the best website possible. It is also necessary to make sure the site speaks to search engines, as well, so the site, if it is designed well, is also accessible to users searching online.
