Tips for Maximizing the Power of Blogs
No one who is involved in any online marketing venture can afford to overlook blogs. Any entrepreneur who continues to ignore blogs will live to regret the decision. Blogs have become increasingly vital for online marketing that most online marketers have included blogs in their marketing strategy.
The power of blogs cannot be denied. Blogs have the ability to gain high volumes of traffic faster than websites. This is because blogs are able to link to other blogs very easily. Links and traffic are closely associated because people use links to arrive at a blog or site. This is why many blogs attract traffic very fast.
So how can an online marketer or entrepreneur maximize on the power of blogs?
Use blogs to direct traffic to your site
This is the most obvious way of using blogs. There are two kinds of blogs used mainly to direct traffic to a site. The first is a blog which is relevant to the topic of the website it links to. The other kind of blog is one with little relation to the site topic. The idea is to generate large volumes of traffic and directing most of it to the site using catchy and attractive links or headlines.
Both kinds of blogs work well and can be used at the same time. Since blogs are easy to maintain, it is possible for a business to have two or more blogs running alongside the main website. For blogs covering unrelated subjects, make sure they attract people who would be suitable prospects for your website.
Use blogs to test ideas
Blogs have made research virtually free. Many online marketers are using blogs for testing purposes. Blogs are great research tools because visitors can leave comments on posts written on your blog. Such comments can be very valuable for assessing public reaction and are useful for helping online marketers tailor their products to meet client demand. Your blog stats can also give you valuable research data. You can check which posts and pages are most popular with visitors.
Leading online marketers test extensively. This is the only way something can be constantly improved.
Use blogs to finance marketing efforts
If you have a significant volume of traffic, you could apply for Google pay-per-click ads. You get paid every time someone clicks on the ads. This opens a variety of opportunities. For instance, you can finance much of your online marketing efforts from your pay-per-click ads income.

Blogs are highly valued because of the content and they bring traffic even better than forums for example, but it is harder tow work with blogs as they require constant writing and adding and commenting and so on.
Blogs are very powerful weapon in the hands of experienced internet marketers, I think it is not very difficult to make one blog successful.
