The WordPress Infographic
If you are a blogger or a webmaster, you certainly may have heard the word “Wordpress” an infinite number of times. WordPress as a blogging platform has really developed a lot in a short time. This bit of code called “Wordpress” is used in some form or other by more than 25 million people and powers almost 8.5% of the websites based in the Internet.

WordPress is the blogging platform to use as it will stay here long after many other web 2.0 properties will close its doors.
I also prefer using wordpress for blogging instead of other platform as it has many plugins anf features which makes it different from others… Nice post..
WordPress has long passed the point of being just a blogging platform and became a full CMS. Latest version is definitely a huge step toward that.

Just came across this today, love all these interesting facts. I find it a crazy thought that such a relatively high percentage of sites on the internet are powered by WordPress. But then, it’s such an obvious choice when setting up a blog for extendability, customisation and ease of use – and the blogosphere has been growing at a huge rate over the last few years. Not to mention sites which use WordPress as a CMS rather than a standard blogging platform.
WordPress is really cool! Better than blogger in all ways!
WordPress really is the best blogging tool for non skilled IT professional’s to use blog’s.

Wow! These are some notable websites. I didn’t realize that you can create such websites via WordPress. What I like about WordPress is its ease to use. Practically anyone can be an expert with this.
The beauty of WP is that it’s so customizable, every site can look different.
WordPress growth continues to power websites across the world. The penetration into the top 100 thousand sites (11.2%) shows that it is not only used by smaller sites.

yup, wordpress is taking over the world….i always advise people to build their sites on wordpress because they are easy to manage if you are html iliterate, they look great, and yes many big brands use it too so why cant you?
Those stats are astonishing, though in a sense not that surprising. I started off building websites from raw code in the late 90s. Since then I have tried (and liked) a number of different CMSs, like Drupal and Joomla. In the end, WordPress has turned out to be considerably more versatile than I originally thought it was. I hate to jump in the bandwangon, but I think it’s excellent.
What is good about WordPress is that it continues to develop year after year (Version 3.2.1 looks and works beautifully) and it is just so amazingly inexpensive and easy to create a great result. It absolutely deserves to have 25m users and be one of the most successful platforms on the web.
I switched from html to wordpress recently and have found there is a big learning curve but the plugins are amazing. The only thing I dislike is too many automated plugins which use massive resources and when your using shared servers it is often not a good thing. Otherwise its fantastic
All my websites are WordPress blogs. I really like the variety of plugins and the diversity of themes. You can build almost any type of website you desire.

Amazing info-graphic!
I’ve to admit that I have used almost all of popular plugin listed.
And I’ve also used wordpress.com service for a while.
There are so many good ones, it’s definitely understandable that you’ve used most of them. The only problem happens when you’re using two plugins that aren’t compatible with one another.
WordPress has a fantastic amount of variety in their plug-ins.continuing to update older versions, and always coming up with new ones for your plug-in diversity.

Recently I have had a love-hate relationship with my plugins. I love them when they are working Correctly and efficiently. However, it can be complete aggravation and frustration when they break down. The good news is I see WordPress constantly working and striving to improve and make their plugins the best, with constant improvements and upgrades.
