At the time of release of the iPad, iPad really did not have any competitor at all and was all set to rule the roost with its sleek design, elegance and the number of solutions offered by the Apple Store and it went on to become the sole ruler of the Tablets realm. Now, 6 months into the release of the iPad we can see manufacturers lined up with their own tablets which is going to give the iPad a run for its money.

Maybe I’m getting a tablet because I can’t really write text on small smartphones, but probably not an ipad lol.
tablets are just turning out to be touchscreen phones with bigger screens..
I am waiting for the Desire HD. Although it is not a tablet, I think it could do all tasks of a tablet with a 4.3 inch screen. At least, it will be lighter and more convenient than these big devices.

I am planning to buy tabled based on Android, not because it is the best, but because the price is reasonably low and to be able to test how much web design is looking on Android platform. As well it is a great option to use it in my car as GPS

I love the tablets of all shape and sizes. I only have one and it’s pretty amazing. But I noticed that 2nd quarter of this year there are so many brands of this tablet in the market. The big boom of this tablets make us feel that this is the great year for the tablet. Nice to know that you presented infographic because this is useful for everyone. I’m excited for next year and now I’m thinking what would be the tablet looks like early next year.
