I would certainly advocate building your own blog from the ground up! You can be proud to know that you built your dream blog from scratch and that its your vision being sent out to the world. Anyway, I think the majority of would-be bloggers are not in the position to actually purchase a popular blog. We’re talking big bucks here!

If you can afford it, I think buying an existing blog makes more sense, assuming it fits into your preferred subject matter area.

Well I think starting a new blog from scratch needs Patience and character. Its a tough job and it tests the person a lot…
Whereas taking over an existing blog, i think the person should be business oriented and should have some experience writing blogs.. else its of no use :/
