100s of Twitter Account Hacked
There has been reports that hundreds of Twitter accounts have been hacked and have started sending “weight-loss” spam today. As posted in the Tech blog Mashable, users who had their accounts hijacked have been tweeting messages like “I lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks!” and links to diet sites.
Nobody know the direct cause but Speculations are being made that the hackers got the access to the accounts and were able to send tweets through some third part application using the Twitter API.
So the best option today would be to stay away from any fat loss links in your twitter.
