Quick Ways to Improve Your Reviews

| October 15, 2011 | 14 Comments More

Affiliate marketing is a great way for any blogger to bring in additional income from their site. However, not everyone is so tactful about the way in which they integrate the links to their affiliates, and their blatant marketing can sometimes be a deterrent for their readers. And when your traffic starts to decline, so do your profits and the interest marketers once had in you.

But before you run out and purchase the latest online surveys software to figure out how to better attract people to the products on your websites, consider incorporating a few of the following into your product reviews:

Pictures

Everyone loves a visual, and the best way to make a link look enticing is to back it up with a picture. Once people see the item, they will be able to picture it more in their own lives, and will be more likely to click on your affiliate’s link. Just be careful when uploading photos. Not only do you want to make sure that you are uploading the right make and model, but you also want to make sure there is no copyright infringement occurring either.

Your Actual Opinion

Don’t let your review sound like an Amazon review by being bland and un-insightful. You need to make sure that your review maintains your own personality so that readers are more likely to trust the opinion and thus click on the link. So just remember to stay you, and your product review will be far more successful.

Videos

If you are trying to pitch a product that could have a variety of uses, make a demo of it. Show yourself using the item, and how useful it is. It will help people better visualize how they could use it in their own lives. Just be careful not to make it look to much like a bad infomercial.

Bullet Points

Bullet points are a great stand-by for any article. They break up articles nicely and make it easier for readers to read the post. Bullets also make it easier for you to highlight a product’s selling point, encouraging your readers even more so into clicking on affiliate links.

Tables, Charts, Graphs

If you can’t find a picture of the product that you like and really don’t want to take the time to make a video, then consider making a table or chart. You can include percentages to show how beneficial a product is, and the easy-to-look-at visual will help your readers see why they need whatever it is your affiliates are selling.

Affiliate marketing isn’t as easy as it once was, but with great content and multi-media incorporated reviews you can definitely keep your income consistent and worthwhile. Just remember to add a little pizazz to keep your readers interested and enticed.

Using the product yourself and giving a personal honest opinion goes a long ways to giving a successful review. Then you want to follow up with images of the product in action. If you put it all together honestly, it will go a long ways towards improving your review process.
