How to Stay Inspired: Some Awkward Tips

| September 29, 2011 | 8 Comments More

Staying inspired 24X7 is certainly not an easy task. Even great bloggers find it really hard to keep their creative juice flowing. Now, if you are taking a stride into the domain of blogging for the first time, you need to master the art of keeping yourself inspired otherwise, you will soon find yourself wear out. Here we are going to share some tips that you may give a go if you are to stay inspired at least 5 days a week.

Yell:  The idea may sound a little bit wacky but it does work, at least for me. When I feel absolutely bored and when nothing is coming out of my silly brain no matter what, I start yelling. Of course, you should do it when no one is at earshot otherwise, they will start believing that you have gone out of your mind. Yelling has its share of advantages. It makes you feel relieved and you will get back the creativity that was playing hide and seek with you for so long.

Drink: This is another wacky idea and like the previous one, it can do wonder. When you feel that you cannot write anymore, just submit yourself to that thought, no confrontation, nothing. Just leave your desk, find a lonely corner and relax with a cup of hot coffee or a glass of coke. Chill a bit, start at some nice looking girls and you will be replenished with positive vibes. So, you have spent a good amount of time outside, it is time to get back to your writing desk unless you want to stay late night at office.

Browse: I am taking about browsing images, really creative images. You can start off with iStock and there are loads of them. Try to explore the hidden meaning of some really creative photos and once you get the bang on it, you will start loving your job of blogging. Great idea huh!

Leave: When you have a feeling that you are getting no where while writing something, you should better leave the desk and stroll around. Strolling creates a sense of energy and since you are not concentrating anything while strolling, you will feel relaxed. This will have positive impacts on your mind and you will be able to write a great post.

Archive: The best way to find your lost inspiration is by viewing articles previously written by you. It will help you see the mistakes that you have committed and thus, will have greater impact on your writing style. Next time, you hit the desk, your mind will have the focus and you will be able to have a great start.

So, follow the tips and hopefully, you will be able to product something truly inspiring.

I guess leaving is the best way for me to get my momentum back. Have a break, watch television, smell some fresh air in the garden, etc. are few ways for me to be inspired again. This is absolutely an effective way for me.
