How to be an authority blogger
Becoming an authority blogger is not a must to make money blogging but it helps you make more money if you can. Establishing yourself as an authority helps you achieve greater results. Below are some steps to become an authority blogger.
1. Study the Authorities: When we talk about blogging authorities, what comes to your mind next? People like Darren Rowse, Brain Clark e.t.c. If I can guess right! Yes! They are the authorities. Try to study the authority bloggers, look at what they do and how they do it, look at how they handle things, how they deal with situations and others and what makes them that special. NOTE: By saying you should study the authorities; I don’t mean you should copy them. Be yourself, do what you can do better but look at this people, know what makes them better and you will learn from them.
2. Blog with authority and confidence: Yeah! You can’t be an authority if you don’t behave like an authority. You don’t have to be subjective in all blog posts you write, try to let people know you are very certain about what you are telling them; talk with confidence when writing posts on your blog. You have to take this major step, let people know you as an authority through your blog posts, not by boasting or calling yourself so but by writing high quality posts that
can not be found anywhere and that expresses you as an authority.
3. Your mind: Don’t let your mind be an obstacle to your success, try to free your mind from any thoughts that can make it seem impossible for you to be there, after all, Darren Rowse and Brain Clark has thousands of readers, you too can, don’t think about how big it is to achieve that goal but always look at what you have done and what next you are to do to achieve the goal. No matter how big it is, “If it is conceivable, it is achievable”. Set yourself free in your mind, see yourself on top, believe you can be there and even do as if you are there. Sooner or Later, you will be there.
4. Research: As an authority, people expect to always find the best from you, even though no human is perfect you have to satisfy the desires of your readers by doing “in-depth” research on any topic you blog about, you just don’t blog about it because every other person does the same but you rather construct an in-depth research which let the users know all about the subject you are writing about.
5. Achievements: This is not boasting, if you call it boasting, then it is. It is important to tell people about your achievements because this helps you look more of an authority. Tell people about your monthly income and so many other great things you achieve, depending on your achievements, the respect they have for you will change. Take a look at problogger and copyblogger, you will see their sidebar boasting their achievements: that is the hundreds of thousands of subscribers they have. This will help readers respect them thereby adding to their authority.
