FeedBurner Is Stealing Your CommentLuv Backlinks!
CommentLuv is one of the best plugin ever made for WordPress. It allows any blog owner to reward the people who comment with a direct link back to one of their own blog articles. CommentLuv is really growing a lot in popularity and a lot of bloggers, even many popular ones use Commentluv in their blog.
All of us know that many of us bloggers comment on other blogs to gain backlinks and commentluv helps a lot in our backlink building since we get a backlink straight away to one of our post from the comment. On the other hand, almost all of us bloggers have started using Feedburner as our default feed. But many of us do not that Feedburner has some what caused a small problem for us commentluv bloggers.
FeedBurner Is Stealing Your Commentluv Backlinks
Yup, you read that right. Feedburner has been stealing your backlinks. Whenever you comment in any commentluv blog the links points towards Google. Even though the click on the link may lead you to your post but it does not mean that you will be getting the quality backlink that you have been wanting to your post. But, you do not have much to worry about. It does not mean that you are doomed.The fix of this problem is in FeedBurner’s default settings.
How to Check that Your CommentLuv Backlinks Are Being Stolen Or Not?
You can either jump back to a comment you’ve made in the past or simply comment on this post directly below. Once the comment is submitted, scroll your mouse over the CommentLuv link. Check the bottom left-hand corner of your browser and the link should appear.

If your browser does not support this feature then you have another option, simply right click on the link you are checking and select “Copy link location”

Paste the link into any word processor to see where it points. If it’s a direct link back to your site then you are saafe, but if it says “http://feedproxy.google.com/……” then Feeddburner has been robbing you of your PR Juice.
What is The Solution?
The solution is very easy, Login to your Feedburner. Once you are into your are account click on “Configure Stats”.
You will then uncheck the box named “Item Link Clicks”. The last thing is to make sure the setting has been saved.
Now, that is all you have to do to get successful backlinks from each comment you leave in a commentluv blog.
You should note that it may take around 24 hours for the changes to appear and for you to see the direct link to your post as your commentluv link instead of the Feedburner link.

I never thought that this can be possible thanks to this post I am aware now I was really shock …good thing their is a solution for it thanks again….
I always make sure that i’m using a custom rss feed that points to my actual blog pages instead of to the feedburners links.
Look to be honest I don’t think it should really matter that much. Just provide good comments that add to the discussion. If you get backlink juice, then Great!! If not, it doesn’t matter. If you are posting just to get a backlink then don’t bother I say.
