Apple Reveals the iPhone 4G at WWDC 2010
As expected Apple launched the iPhone 4G at the WorldWide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2010 Yesterday. This phone boasts a variety of new features that will cement the place of Apple in the smartphone industry.
The much anticipated iPhone 4G price and availability was announced by Steve Jobs during his Keynote speech.
The price and availability of the iPhone OS was also announced. It will come in two colors, the black and white. The 16GB model will cost you 199$ while the 32GB model will cost you 299$

The iPhone 4G will be available for pre order in about a week from now. The will ship to five countries first: US, France, Germany, UK, and Japan.
In early July, they will ship the iPhone in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Swede, and Switzerland.
And by September 2010, they will ship the iPhone 4G in 88 countries!
The iPhone is the tinniest iPhone ever and is made of stainless steel.The glass is scratch resistant and crystal clear to produce highest viewing quality.
Specifications
Some of the features of the iPhone are:
- Front camera for Video Chat using iChat
- 3.5 inch retina display, 960 x 640 pixels
- Display has 326 pixels per inch, 800:1 contrast ratio
- 5 mega-pixel camera which can digitally zoom 5x
- Powered by the A4 processor
- Improved Battery life! 7 hours of 3G talk, 6 hours 3G browsing, 10 hours Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hours music, 40 hours of music, and 300 hours in standby mode.
- Disk Space: 32GB.
- It’s a quad band HSDPA / HSUPA phone with dual microphones and 802.11n Wi-Fi.
- A Gyro-accelerometer is included which provides 6-axis motion sensing
- Can record 720p HD videos at 30 frames per second
- Will run on iOS, the newest version of iPhone OS
- Multitasking capability
- Has thinness of 9.33 mm and also has two camera system.
- 5MP camera can record HD video and has iMovie app through which you can edit a video and publish it as you want.
- Facetime videoconferencing

The iPhone 4 alone doesn’t make a ton of difference between the earlier versions. The new 4.0 firmware or the iOS 4 is what that makes the big difference with over 100 new features.

iPhone 4 like a higher-quality display and front-facing camera were helping to whip up interest in the phone.
I expected the price to be so high, so I already saved some money so I can buy it right away when it is available in switzerland.
Really excited about the new Apple 4g Iphone, can’t wait to get my hands on one!
