are the “High-Res” (glossy and antiglare) display options for the 15 inch models new?
100 $ extra for a slower processor and no SD card slot (and admittedly 2 inch more sreen) – maybe Apple ist not doing itself a favour here…

I don’t know, am I the only one who is thinking that Apple notebook prices are shifting more and more from quite expensive to rather ridiculously expensive? For about 500$ you got a quite working HP or Acer laptop from Best Buy, while a MacBook Pro 15′ starts at 1799$. I’m a Mac user as well, and I really love using my Mac, and would still be really willing to pay double the price than for a comparable windows laptop. But this is more than the triple price. Don’t kow. Don’t you think, that’s a bit out of space, regardless of better user experience and usability?

Yup I agree with you mate, apple’s prices are hilariously too much.
PC laptops are definitely a better deal if you compare machine specs. But I love using the Mac OS and hate Windows. So, sadly perhaps, Mac has me hooked.

thanks bro!!!
The good thing about Apple is that your expectations are met or exceeded, bu the bad thing about it is that it is so fast in evolving, one day you are using one product the next day there is another one created but has bigger memory and better appearance.
